Donald G. Morash Jr., owner of Abbott Properties, has been named the recipient of the Rhode Island Commercial and Appraisal Board of Realtors 2021 REALTOR® of the Year award.
Don Morash was a broker/owner of Abbott Properties Real Estate, LLC. for 35 years until his passing in December 2020. Don was not only an experienced realtor and mentor to many, he has also been involved with many nonprofit organizations. He was a Warwick Rotarian for many years and served as President 2002-2003. In addition, Don had been involved in many organizations including the March of Dimes, West Bay Habitat for Humanity, Junior Achievement, Boys & Girls Club, SBA National Advisory Council, Central RI Chamber of Commerce, East Greenwich Chamber of Commerce, Kent Washington Board of Realtors, Providence Board of Realtors, as well as the RI Association of Realtors and National Association of Realtors. Don was on the Zoning Board of Warwick for nearly 20 years, serving as its chairman until the time of his passing.
