Foster Forward $2,000 donation
The Board was pleased to present Foster Forward with a $2,000 donation at its 10/3/17 Annual Meeting. Through a wide range of innovative programs and services, they assist foster families as they navigate the child welfare system, prepare foster children and teens to live independently and empower them to become successful adults. They serve 1600 clients each year. The $2,000 donation was made possible by the fundraising efforts of our members. In addition, the Board held a Spring pajama drive for middle and high schoolers, assisted at their family appreciation day the Impossible Dream Playground in May and was the proud sponsor of the teal blue lighting of the State House dome in Providence, RI, May 22nd – May 28th to bring awareness of May as National Foster Awareness Month!
